To further strengthen our presence in Asia, UNS is seeking a dedicated PR & Business Development Consultant to be based in South Korea. This role will provide on-the-ground expertise and ensure UNS visibility and engagement in the South Korean market.
Role Summary
The PR & BD Consultant will be responsible for initiating, facilitating, and executing activities that enhance UNS profile in South Korea. Working closely UNS’s teams active in the market, the Specialist will secure invitations to key conferences, ensure participation in relevant design competitions and projects, and introduce UNS to new clients and networks.
Responsibilities
Provide dedicated local support in South Korea across Marketing, PR, and Business Development functions.
Secure invitations and coordinate UNS participation in major conferences, design competitions, and industry events.
Strengthen UNS visibility and reputation in the South Korean market through targeted PR and marketing initiatives.
Identify and connect with potential clients, expanding UNS local network.
Coordinate with international teams to align local activities with global PR and BD strategies.
Monitor and report on industry trends, opportunities, and competitor activities in South Korea.
Support the preparation of bilingual (Korean/English) project texts, press releases, and social media content.
Manage relationships with local media, institutions, and professional associations.
Qualifications & Skills
University degree in architecture, design, communications, marketing, business, or related fields.
Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience.
Background in architecture or design preferred.
Strong local market knowledge and networks.
Proven ability to coordinate across marketing, PR, and BD functions.
Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Practical, hands-on mentality with strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design/communication tools (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
