We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Technician to join the Until Labs team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the laboratory by supporting glassware management, solution preparation, equipment upkeep, and logistical tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Technician to join the Until Labs team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the laboratory by supporting glassware management, solution preparation, equipment upkeep, and logistical tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sterilize, and organize laboratory glassware to ensure proper availability for experiments.
- Prepare laboratory solutions and buffers according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Manage shipping and receiving of laboratory materials, ensuring accurate logging, labeling, and safe handling of incoming and outgoing items.
- Clean and maintain centrifuges and other laboratory equipment, following routine maintenance schedules.
- Refill and distribute ethanol, isopropanol and other commonly used laboratory solutions throughout the lab.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supply levels and reporting shortages.
- Support lab safety by adhering to biosafety and chemical safety regulations.
- Collaborate with lab staff to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Aid in hazardous and biological waste disposal and storing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
- Previous laboratory experience or familiarity with basic lab procedures strongly preferred.
- Ability to follow written protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift and transport lab materials (up to ~50 lbs).
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
