- Permanent, Part-time (3 days per week - flexible on days)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational education and training to students pursuing a career in health. This role will provide the delivery & marking of our Health and Community Service programs to allocated students including Schools across Queensland and the Deadly and Traineeships Programs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver vocational education and training in health-related subjects at Certificates II and III level
- Assess student learning and progress, providing feedback, support, and completing final signoffs to ensure successful course completion
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their career development and transition into their chosen employment
- Engage with industry and workplaces, including trainee visits and collaboration to support successful employment outcomes and career goals
- Complete administrative and compliance tasks, including assessment marking and maintaining accurate training records in Canvas
- Represent and support the organisation, through career expos, holiday programs, trainer up-skilling, and resource review
- Work 3 days per week (days are flexible and can be agreed upon)
