Higher Education Markers

We are seeking markers to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for marking and providing feedback on assignments for our counselling and social work programs. This role is crucial in maintaining the academic standards and supporting the progression of our students.

As a Marker, you will assess assignments and exams for counselling and social work courses at Diploma, Bachelor, and Master levels. You’ll provide timely, constructive feedback, ensure fair and consistent marking using set rubrics, and maintain accurate records. The role involves collaborating with academic staff and participating in occasional training and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mark assignments and exams for Bachelors, Masters, and Diploma courses in counselling and social work.
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to students to support their academic development.
• Ensure consistency and fairness in marking according to the provided rubrics and guidelines.
• Collaborate with course coordinators and lecturers to ensure alignment with course objectives and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of student grades and feedback.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
