Job Overview

As a Carpentry Trainer & Assessor at Builders Academy Australia (BAA), you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of builders by delivering and assessing high-quality apprenticeship, school-based, and workplace-based training. This role will include regular travel to workplaces and trade training centres, you’ll support apprentices and trainees to achieve their qualifications and career goals. This hands-on role combines training delivery, student support, and industry engagement, ensuring compliance with RTO standards and contributing to continuous improvement across our training programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover sites across the Western regions, including Geelong and Bacchus Marsh
  • Deliver engaging, compliant, and high-quality Carpentry training and assessment across classroom and workplace settings.
  • Prepare, plan, and facilitate sessions that cater to diverse learning styles and align with industry and compliance standards.
  • Support apprentices and trainees through regular communication, feedback, and progress monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, students, and key stakeholders to enhance the student experience and program effectiveness.
