Location: Remote - NZ
Part-time | Permanent | Remote – Anywhere in NZ

This is part-time permanent role, 16 hours a week (flexible times). This is a fully remote role so we are open to candidates from anywhere within New Zealand.

About the role: 

As an Online Tutor - Construction, you will directly influence those upskilling in the construction industry within New Zealand, as you share your experience, skills and training with students from many backgrounds. In this role, you will be in an energetic online asynchronous learning environment where value is placed on delivering outcomes and student engagement in our business courses.

This role in particular will focus primarily on our Level 5 Construction Site Supervision courses, in Residential and Commercial strands.

Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

• Connect with students through facilitated asynchronous delivery: through our platform’s forums, messaging and one on one sessions.
• Deliver assessments and grade assessments: ensuring students are evaluated to prescribed national and local qualification standards
• Participate in the continuous improvement of course content and learning resources
• Be available to give subject related support to your online students, in a caring and encouraging manner via our online learning platform and online communication channels 
• Keep records of accurate student data, assessment results, student participation, student-at-risk and other required documentation
• Provide basic pastoral care and support to the students.
