Job Overview

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Intern will support a broad range of day-to-day manufacturing activities while gaining hands-on experience in a production environment. This is a learning-focused role that provides exposure to manufacturing processes, documentation, quality, and production support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day manufacturing and production activities.
  • Help document and organize manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Assist with identifying and resolving basic production issues.
  • Support improvements to manufacturing processes and work areas.
  • Work with production, quality, materials, and other team members as needed.
  • Help maintain an organized and efficient production environment.
  • Take on other manufacturing-related tasks and projects as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills &Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes
  • Strong willingness to learn and take on a variety of hands-on tasks
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or technical program.
  • Interest in manufacturing, production, or hands-on technical work.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team.
  • College student pursuing a degree or technical program in any relevant field.
  • Engineering degree or engineering experience is not required.

May be required to lift and move boxes or packages not exceeding 20 pounds in weight. Some work stress inherent to the position and extended work hours may be required.


Work Environment: 

The work environment will be an office environment.  Noise level: Normal office noises, manufacturing and construction noises.
