The Clinical Recruiter leads the end-to-end recruitment process for behavioral health clinicians, managing talent sourcing to selection and onboarding handoff. This role partners closely with hiring managers, clinical leaders, and HR to attract, assess, and hire top-tier behavioral health professionals while ensuring compliance with credentialing and regulatory standards. The recruiter delivers a high-quality, inclusive candidate experience and leverages data-driven insights to optimize recruiting outcomes and strengthen workforce pipelines. This position reports directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition.
Daily Task Ownership:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for behavioral health clinicians — from role intake to offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and interview strategies.
- Develop and maintain pipelines of licensed behavioral health professionals through proactive sourcing and networking.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience that reflects the organization’s mission and values in behavioral health.
- Manage job postings, screening, interviews, and selection in alignment with compliance and credentialing standards.
- Collaborate with HR and clinical leadership to ensure smooth onboarding and regulatory adherence.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source quality, conversion rates) to drive performance improvement.
- Uphold equitable, inclusive, and compliant hiring practices across all recruitment activities.
- Stay informed on behavioral health workforce trends to inform strategy and market positioning.
- Continuously optimize recruiting processes, tools, and outreach to attract top-tier clinical talent.
Requirements
- 2+ years of high-volume, complex recruiting experience (required). Behavioral Healthcare experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or other related field highly preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving aptitude
- Ability to work in fast-paced organization
- Ability to be fully-independent with proven track record of managing 10+ reqs.
- Must be willing to work on PST/MST timezone.
- Estimated compensation range based on geographic location and years of experience $70,000-$85,000
