📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Manager to join our Home, Deco & Electro team in the Benelux.
  • You will report to the Commercial Director of the Benelux and be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing strategic partnerships. Your role will involve developing and adapting the company’s commercial strategy. 
  • This position requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and strong people management abilities to effectively manage and inspire your team.
  • Within the Benelux Home, Deco & Electro team, we operate across the Benelux region and cover the following sectors: Big Home Furniture, Small Home Deco, Home Linen, Tableware, DIY, Electro, and Garden & Outdoor.
  • We work with brands such as Baobab, De Witte Lietaer, Tempur, KitchenAid, Serax, Tefal, GreenPan, Thermos, Tokyo Design, Perfect Plant Deal, and many others.
  • You will travel to the Netherlands at least twice per month.

🎯 MISSIONS

  • Translate the company strategy into a sector-specific plan, ensuring clear communication and effective implementation within your team.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, and creating targeted plans to maximize market potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and prospects in the Benelux region. Understand their business needs, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and drive customer loyalty.
  • Work closely with your colleagues from the other countries towards the company vision. Facilitate the collaboration of your team members and their colleagues from the other countries.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and market trends. 
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Logistics, Productions, Customer Care and Finance to ensure alignment and effective execution of the complete sales construction chain and deadlines.
  • Lead and motivate your team of Key Account Managers and Sales Analysts, currently 6 people based in Brussels and Amsterdam,, monitoring the capacity, evaluations & objectives. Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to develop team

👉 MUST HAVE skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a people management role in sales, business development, or key account management, in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the Home, Deco and/or Tech. sector and digital environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced command of Excel. Experience in budget management, commercial monitoring and an analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Team player with strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
  • Fluent in English/French/Dutch.
  • Hands-on, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Willing to travel between Brussels and Amsterdam every 2 weeks
