Logistic Supervisor - (W/M/X) - Permanent

📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations during their assigned shift, ensuring performance, productivity, and quality targets are met.
• This role manages a team of Team Leaders, driving operational excellence, team engagement, and continuous improvement across all processes.

🎯 TASKS

Operations Management

• Ensure the correct execution of all operational processes during the shift (inbound, outbound, picking, packing, etc.)

• Monitor KPIs (productivity, quality, service level, safety) and take corrective actions when needed

• Guarantee adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)

 

Team Leadership

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Team Leaders

• Provide clear direction, priorities, and expectations at the beginning of each shift

• Conduct regular performance follow-ups and feedback sessions

• Support Team Leaders in managing their teams effectively

 

Planning & Coordination

• Align workforce planning with operational needs and volume forecasts

• Ensure proper resource allocation across different areas

• Coordinate with other departments (HR, Planning, Quality, Maintenance)

 

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives (LEAN mindset)

• Support implementation of new processes, tools, and best practices

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

• Promote a safety-first culture and address any risks immediately

 

Reporting

• Provide shift reports including performance analysis, incidents, and action plans

• Escalate any operational risks or issues to management
  

 

👉 MUST HAVE skills

• Proven experience in a supervisory or similar role within logistics/operations

• Experience managing Team Leaders or middle management

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Analytical mindset with ability to manage KPIs and performance

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN is a plus)

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility to work shifts
