The Role
Veeva is seeking an experienced and business-orientated Employee Success (Human Resources) Business Partner to enable our Professional Services leaders to scale their teams across the region. You will help us scale globally by blending hands on work with strategic vision to champion Veeva's innovative culture
As the Employee Success Business Partner, you’ll combine business acumen, relationship management, analytical skills, strategic thought, and communication savvy to understand our customers' needs and drive employee success. Our primary mandate is to provide impactful tools, insights, and proposals that support, enable, and empower managers in achieving their business objectives through people.
This may include streamlining core HR processes or designing a retention program framework. You will demonstrate your ability to work in a global and cross-functional team environment and be part of a high-growth environment.
You must be based in Spain already and be eligible for employment in the EU. You decide whether to work from our office in Barcelona or work from home as we are a Work Anywhere company.

What You’ll Do
- Enable business growth by ensuring an engaging work environment and high-performance culture where employees can do their best
- Create talent focus including performance management, internal mobility, and overall development
- Partner with leaders and people managers as a strategic advisor to translate business objectives into actionable people strategies
- Act as a customer-first, people-oriented solutions consultant by providing thought partnerships and useful tools for the leaders you support. Topics include: employee relations matters, change management, compensation, learning and development
- Be the guardian of the employee lifecycle and partner with Employee Success Associates to ensure the right support at scale including onboarding, employee transfers, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding
- Provide insightful data on retention and employee experience to proactively recommend systemic improvements
- Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue; design and quickly implement solutions that may cut across multiple disciplines or support functions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a product/tech organization or management consulting firm, working as part of a virtual team across several countries
- Clear demonstration of strong judgment, coaching, influencing, and problem-solving
- Self-driven, autonomous, and a team player
- Employee relations experience, working through complex situations and escalations
- Partnered C-level/global leaders on organization and talent needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- Highly resourceful, self-driven and comfortable working with ambiguity
