Infrastructure Architect

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of our enterprise IT infrastructure landscape. This strategic role blends architectural vision with operational leadership, ensuring high performance, resilience, security, and cost efficiency across a multinational environment.

You will play a key role in aligning infrastructure capabilities with business objectives while driving modernization and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the IT infrastructure strategy (systems, network, connectivity)

• Build and maintain the infrastructure roadmap aligned with business needs

• Strengthen monitoring, automation, and observability capabilities

• Lead hybrid infrastructure design (on-prem & cloud), ensuring value-driven cloud adoption

• Design and oversee HA/DR architectures

• Lead infrastructure design for business projects and POCs

• Oversee infrastructure impact of software integrations and deployments

• Standardize “Site-in-a-Box” infrastructure templates for stores, warehouses, and offices

• Drive infrastructure modernization and lifecycle management

• Partner with international vendors on solution design and implementation

• Architect network segmentation and Zero Trust environments

• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and GDPR

Technical Environment:

• On-Prem Infrastructure: VMware vSphere, Proxmox, SAN storage

• Cloud: hybrid architecture background and experience in one major cloud platform (AWS/ Azure etc.)

• Networking & Security: SD-WAN, Load Balancing, Zero Trust frameworks

• Automation & Scripting: PowerShell

• Monitoring & Observability: Splunk, PRTG etc.

• Operating Systems: Windows & Linux

• Data Platforms: Knowledge on any of the following platforms - Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL (“Always-On” clusters)

• Directory Services: Active Directory (group-level governance and unification)

• Edge Computing: POS systems and IoT hardware environments

• Modern Workplace: Secure communication and remote access strategies

• Containers: Knowledge on Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) orchestration

Profile & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years designing/ driving complex infrastructure implementations

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven experience managing mission-critical infrastructure and external providers

• Solid knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong stakeholder management capabilities

• Advanced proficiency in both English and French required
