Senior Business Analyst

This role supports the organisation’s strategic and regulatory ambitions by driving financial planning, regulatory reporting, and process improvement across key business initiatives. The analyst will work cross-functionally with finance, governance, compliance, and programme teams to ensure accurate reporting, strategic alignment, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Analysis
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop business proposals and cost models aligned with organisational strategy.
- Support the development of business plans for initiatives spanning 2025–2030, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse customer strategy documentation and integrate insights into planning processes.
Financial & Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare and validate financial and regulatory submissions in line with applicable standards (e.g., GAAP).
- Perform quality assurance on financial data, identifying and investigating variances.
- Support the Governance and Finance Analyst in building financial models for both strategic initiatives and ongoing operations.
- Maintain effective internal controls to ensure accuracy in financial and regulatory reporting.
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
- Drive quality management processes and streamline ways of working across teams.
- Identify and implement new reporting requirements and process improvements (e.g., PR6).
- Document and improve business planning and dependency processes.
- Research and recommend best-in-class industry practices to support digitisation and simplification.
