Job Overview

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians and RVTs with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
  • Prepare patients for appointments, including histories and vital signs as appropriate
  • Provide nursing care to hospitalized pets, including monitoring comfort and cleanliness
  • Safely handle and restrain animals of varying sizes and temperaments
  • Support lab work, including sample collection and processing
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, instruments, and equipment
  • Communicate professionally with pet owners and provide basic care instructions as directed
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient information
  • Work collaboratively with the hospital team to support efficient daily operations and a positive client experience


About You

  • 1+ years of Veterinary Assistant or Technician experience
  • Calm, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, compassionate, and professional communicator
  • Basic computer skills; veterinary software experience is a plus
  • Veterinary certifications are a plus
