Senior Frontend Software Engineer

About the Role 

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a key role within an Agile/Scrum squad, working closely with senior software engineers, QA, DevOps, Product, and the Software Engineering Manager to design and deliver high-quality user-facing solutions for the Vimachem Pharma 4.0 Platform. 

You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day development of the frontend applications, contributing to complex features, UI architecture, and performance improvements. This is a hands-on role where your impact comes from designing, building, reviewing, and continuously improving production-ready frontend systems. 

You will help ensure that our applications are intuitive, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with both business needs and user experience best practices. This is a visible role with the opportunity to directly influence how our customers interact with Vimachem’s platform. 

Tech Stack 

Most of our services are built with .NET Core on the backend. On the frontend, we rely on Angular for application development, along with PrimeNG for UI components and responsiveness. For storage, we primarily use MS SQL Server, while also leveraging PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and TimescaleDB where appropriate. We use Lucene Search for fast and efficient search functionality, and RabbitMQ as our message broker.  Our teams use Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD, along with the Atlassian stack for ticketing and documentation. 

About You 

• You are an experienced frontend software engineer who takes pride in building clean, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces. You enjoy working close to the codebase and thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams. 

• You take ownership of your work, balancing short-term delivery with long-term maintainability. You are proactive, self-motivated, and continuously seek opportunities to improve both your skills and the quality of the products you build. 

• You have a strong user-centric mindset and understand that usability, performance, and visual clarity are critical to delivering great software, especially in regulated Life Sciences environments. 

The main qualifications for the Senior Frontend Software Engineer role include: 

• 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience building applications with Angular. 

• Advanced Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline. 

• Strong understanding of modern web development concepts and tooling, including Angular component architecture, Webpack, and Babel. 

• Strong experience with frontend technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, RxJS, NGRX. 

• Familiarity with UI component libraries and charting tools (e.g., PrimeNG, Bootstrap, Highcharts) is a plus. 

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and product managers in Agile environments. 

• High standards for code quality, maintainability, scalability, and performance. 

• Ability to take ownership of features from design through delivery, and to mentor or support less experienced team members.
