In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating property damage, preparing detailed cost estimates, and developing proposals for restoration projects. Your expertise will directly contribute to project success and client satisfaction, making you a crucial part of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough on-site evaluations of damaged properties to assess the extent of repairs required
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for restoration projects, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Develop and present comprehensive proposals to clients, explaining the scope of work and associated costs
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and insurance adjusters to ensure successful project execution
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, contracts, and communications with clients and stakeholders
- Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure adherence to estimates
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to restoration and construction
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the estimation and project execution process
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restoration Estimator or similar role in the restoration or construction industry
- Strong understanding of restoration processes, materials, and project management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Communication: Clearly communicate project timelines, budgets, and expectations to clients and internal teams.
- Bid Preparation: Create and submit competitive bids for restoration projects, adhering to company standards and client requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for restoration and repair projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities for accurate estimations.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough records of damage assessments and project tracking for insurance claims.
- Collaboration: Work closely with insurance adjusters, clients, and contractors to ensure alignment on project scope and costs.
- Project Management: Ability to oversee project timelines and budgets effectively. Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation, timely project starts, and efficient resource allocation.
- IICRC Certification is preferred.
