Product Manager, Visa Payables Automation
Job Overview
As a Product Manager/Owner for Visa Payables Automation, we are seeking an individual that is a self-starter, ready to learn and innovate, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Visa Payables Automation (VPA) is a key product within Visa’s Virtual Card product suite and this role will be responsible for the VPA User Experience (Banks, Fintechs, Buyers and Suppliers) including strategy and development management.
The right candidate will be able to combine successful product development process experience with effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and technical skills. This role will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end product management including understanding global market needs, developing product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, product design and development, release planning, and marketing of our VPA product across a wide range of workstreams including Technology, Risk, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Implementation, Client Service and the regional product teams.
The role requires analytical, collaborative, strategic, and technical product skills. In addition, the role is required to develop a deep understanding of the Visa Payables Automation product, ensure changes to the product are executed on time and budget, and that Issuer and client impacts are understood, communicated, and managed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and maintains a deep understanding of Virtual Card strategies, priorities, market needs and integrating them into product roadmap.
Responsible for defining business feature and writing very clear, thorough, and detailed user stories for features and product sets per Agile methodology and communicate effectively to technical team.
Having a ‘Can do attitude’ and work with technology teams to develop use cases, and prioritize user stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that is aligned with product strategy.
Responsible for planning and conducting User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful business releases.
Responsible for producing product documentation including User Guides, Product Overview decks and training - materials.
Partner with marketing team/agency to expand strategic documents and build holistic virtual account marketing collateral as well as engage in marketing research activities to inform client needs.
Perform go-to-market activities by closely working with program management, regional product managers, other product teams, finance, operations, legal, compliance and external partners as required.
Serve as product SME.
Work with regional product, partnerships, implementation, and support teams in their relationships to collaborate with financial institutions and corporate clients serving as knowledge expert.
Displaying a high level of critical thinking and problem resolution for new and existing products.
Strong leadership, interpersonal/communication skills, collaborates easily and successfully within as well as across organizations.
Operates with minimal supervision and able to make informed, well-reasoned decisions independently.

Ability to work with team members across various time zones – California, Texas, New York, Poland, and India
