As we embark on the journey to enhance the Visa Direct Payout Services technology platforms, we are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer who can participate in the detailed design and development activities for this product build.

 

The role involves extensive hands-on activities. Here are key job responsibilities:

· Understand the Payments industry and where Visa Direct Payout Services fits in the payment’s ecosystem

· Understand the business initiatives and their importance to the growth of Visa Direct Payout Services.

· Develop a good understanding of the Visa Direct Payout Services technology

· Collaborate with product owners and technical staff globally to define requirements for new features and enhancements to the platform.

· Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team as well as across multiple teams and stakeholders.

· Provide QA input into delivery of features and stories – estimation and sizing.

· Question and think outside of acceptance criteria to identify exception scenarios, error states, etc.

· Take on leadership responsibilities and influence the direction of the testing and automation efforts.

· Collaborate with QA Engineers from various locations and ensure smooth delivery of releases.

· Ability to identify and manage risks at all stages of the project.

· Adherence to practices such as test coverage, open defect counts, continuous integration, code reviews, code quality and shift left practices.

· Stay up to date with new testing approaches, tools, technologies, and test strategies.

· Drive improvements in processes and frameworks across the team.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
