Job Overview
- Ensure all physical contracts transactions are properly captured and recorded into the accounting system. Troubleshoot as necessary
- Monitor trading open positions, ensure valuation accuracy and proper recognition in compliance with group policies
- Ensure derivatives are recorded and supported in accordance with Vitol's policies and controls
- Prepare and provide meaningful analysis to the various stakeholders to improve decision making
- Collaborate with commercial operations, risk, back-office functions to ensure proper recognition and reflection of the PnL
- Ensure tasks are done with an impeccable level of accuracy and in a timely manner
- Support continuous improvements around tools, processes and controls
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain internal controls and company processes and procedures
- Support external audits of our yearly financial statements and partnership activities
- Comply with Vitol’s policies on data confidentiality and security
