Job Overview
Purpose
The Territory Manager is responsible for driving fuel, lubricants sales and CR income on the sites in his/her geographical area and ensuring optimum site and service standards.
Position Accountabilities
- Manage site operating standards and processes for geographical area under his/her responsibility, ensuring consistent delivery of the Shell Customer Commitment and compliance.
- Manage key Retail economic levers to maximize site profitability and income.
- Maximize all sales potential by applying retailing principles and processes.
- Participate in recruitment, selection and development of the right retailers.
- Effectively manage relationships with retailers.
- Manage site performance and administration through coaching, supporting and performance.
- Deliver sales & operations targets for geographical area through regular reviews and appropriate action plans.
- Ensure compliance with the site operations/HSSE standards, contracts and manuals.
Key Challenges
- Ability to motivate retailers to deliver the targets.
- Maintain optimum site and service standards on all sites.
- Ability to operate efficiently within a multifunctional team.
Requirements
Qualifications, Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- A degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience.
- Previous experience in retail operations is desirable.
- Previous sales/commercial experience is desirable.
- Demonstrate the ability to select, analyze and integrate consumer/shopper, customer and category information to deliver business solutions.
