As part of its development Volton strengthens its human resources in Athens and seeks a BI & Data Analyst.
We are looking for a BI & Data Analyst to become part of our newly created BI & Reporting team. This position will be responsible for supporting corporate and business reporting needs of the organization. He/she will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering new reports, changes, or extensions to existing reports. Moreover he/she will be responsible for monitoring all daily workflows planned to update the report repository. Finally, he/she will be responsible for identifying improvements to existing processes and flows to meet operational excellence.
This position will assist in most functions regarding Reporting and Business Intelligence, with the primary focus revolving initially around regulatory reporting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible of corporate and business reporting
- Support reporting requirements as scope of upcoming projects
- Propose and implement improvements on existing processes
- Be part of the development team throughout the delivery of the BI/DWH solution which is underway
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field
- 3+ years of related working experience
- Excellent knowledge of Excel with Power Query
- Experience in Reporting and Data Visualization tools, ideally Power BI
- Knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques, preferably experience with T-SQL
- Understanding of fundamental computer science knowledge (data structures, algorithms, etc.)
- Experience in energy industry will be considered a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
