Video Editor - Short-Form Content (Organic Social)

About the role

We are looking for a short-form video editor to bring content to life across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You'll edit raw footage or repurpose podcast clips, and interviews into high-retention edits that align with our brand’s tone (authentic, intentional, high-value).

What you'll do

• Edit clips with viral potential for reach and engagement
• Add captions, memes, jump cuts, and audio dynamics to hook viewers
• Collaborate with the team to turn long-form into short-form gold
• Maintain on-brand visuals while pushing creative boundaries
• Deliver 20 shorts a week
  
  

You are

• Savvy in the TikTok/IG Reel/YouTube Shorts world
• Obsessed with retention graphs and attention-grabbing hooks
• Up to date with platform-native trends, music, and editing styles
• Able to take raw input and craft scroll-stopping content
  
  

Requirements

• Collaborate with team in meetings and 1-on-1s
• Strong communication via Slack and project tools
• Ability to deliver multiple pieces of high-quality content per week
• Willingness to support rapid iteration based on performance data
• High-speed internet and professional editing software required

Compensation

• $1,000 - $3,000 per month depending on experience
