About the role

  • We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our Project Management Office. The Project Manager will be responsible to lead projects from definition of requirements, through deployment and project closure. This role will develop schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation, and interface independently as the lead client point of contact.
  • This is a full time, remote, salaried W2 role with full benefits. Some site travel expected (<10%)
  • Compensation is determined by experience, technical expertise, and level of responsibility. Depending on qualifications, this position may be hired at the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level. Salary range $110,000 - $175,000/year.

What you'll do

  • Support Project Management Office in execution of projects
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels, escalating issues as necessary
  • Provide schedule and budget updates as required by client and WRG 
  • Ability to work remotely and travel to customer and project sites as required
  • Ability to independently communicate with clients and partners in a professional, technically competent manner 
  • Track deadlines, action items, and project deliverables across multiple initiatives. 
  • Maintain shared documents and drive organization through consistent digital file management. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in the nuclear energy industry
  • 5+ years experience as a Project Manager or Engineer or related
  • Engineering Degree preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Hands-on experience with EVMS, MS Project/Primavera P6
  • Ability to travel on-site and ability to gain unescorted access at US nuclear, DOE and DOD sites
