As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-grade software products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to validate functionality, identify defects early, and ensure seamless user experiences. This role demands a strong balance of manual testing expertise, automation capabilities, and performance testing knowledge to support scalable and high-performing applications. You will be responsible for establishing quality benchmarks, improving test processes, and driving a quality-first mindset across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform comprehensive manual testing across web, mobile, and backend systems to validate functionality, usability, and regression
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and execution efficiency
• Execute performance and load testing using JMeter to assess system scalability, stability, and responsiveness
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate fixes
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure quality alignment in agile environments
• Validate API responses, data integrity, and backend workflows using appropriate testing techniques
• Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing strategies to reduce manual effort
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and release readiness criteria
• Support UAT cycles by coordinating with business stakeholders and validating end-user requirements
• Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics for stakeholders

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance across manual and automated testing
• Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Proven experience in test automation with a solid understanding of frameworks and scripting concepts
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance, load, and stress testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to design effective test strategies aligned with business and technical requirements
• Experience working with APIs, databases, and backend systems for validation and data testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report quality insights
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and quality excellence
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments
