Asset Management QA & Business Validation Specialist

We are hiring an Asset Management QA & Business Validation Specialist to support critical testing initiatives across capital markets platforms. This role is ideal for a testing professional who enjoys working close to the business, validating complex investment workflows, and ensuring accuracy across trading, middle office, and accounting systems.

You will play a key role in validating real-world asset management processes by partnering with business users, product teams, and technology stakeholders during User Acceptance and Functional Testing phases.

Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functional Testing for asset management and capital markets platforms.

Validate end-to-end workflows spanning trade lifecycle, post-trade processing, and investment accounting.

Ensure systems meet business expectations before production release.

Test trade capture, order execution, and transaction processing across asset classes.

Validate workflows across middle office and downstream accounting systems.

Perform functional validation of:

Pricing and valuation processes

Corporate actions handling

Reconciliations and custody flows

Collateral and settlement processes

Work closely with business users to understand functional requirements and expected outcomes.

Translate business scenarios into detailed test cases, test scripts, and execution plans.

Ensure coverage aligns with real operational and accounting use cases.

Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.

Collaborate with development teams to support defect analysis and resolution.

Support test cycles through to final business sign-off.

Act as a bridge between business, operations, and technology teams.

Participate in walkthroughs, UAT reviews, and release readiness discussions.

Ensure clarity, transparency, and quality throughout the testing lifecycle.

Strong experience in Asset Management or Capital Markets testing.

Hands-on exposure to UAT and Functional Testing environments.

Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and investment operations.

Experience working with transaction, order, or portfolio systems.

Good functional understanding of investment accounting and post-trade processes.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.

Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders.

Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.

Exposure to investment accounting or asset servicing platforms such as Eagle, SimCorp, Portia, or similar.

Understanding of capital markets operations, controls, or regulatory workflows.

Experience in client-facing or business-critical testing engagements.
