Senior Engineer, Slider Manufacturing Engineering

Summary of the Role:

As a Senior Engineer, Slider Manufacturing Engineering, you will be responsible for automating inspection data collection and reporting to improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiency within manufacturing operations. You will analyze data to identify yield-impacting trends, develop real-time dashboards, and drive data-informed decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, automation, and vendors. The role also leads digital transformation initiatives, manages inspection algorithm updates and validations, and promotes a data-driven culture. 

Job Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

• Automate inspection data collection and reporting to enhance visibility and accuracy.
• Analyze data to identify yield-impacting patterns and develop dashboards for real-time decision-making.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and automation teams to integrate data from various systems.
• Lead digital initiatives to simplify processes and improve factory efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and promote a data-driven culture within engineering teams.
• Maintain and troubleshoot tools, collaborating with vendors for system upgrades and repairs.
• Use data analytics tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) to analyze trends and create visualizations.
• Focal person for inspection algorithm updates and validation to ensure consistent and accurate defect classification
• Perform other duties as assigned.
