Summer 2026 Intern – Global Supply Chain & Procurement

Western Digital is seeking a group of talented, highly motivated interns to join our Global Supply Chain & Procurement team for Summer 2026. Ideal candidates will have a foundational understanding of key business processes, strong project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Interns will gain hands-on experience in: 

• Process improvement and operational efficiency 

• Data analytics and visualization 

• Cross-functional collaboration within a global organization 

• Executive-level communication and reporting 

Internship placements will be made across several teams, including: 

• Global Logistics – Drive process improvements and conduct root cause analysis to enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 

• Risk Management – Research and analyze data to support supply chain risk resiliency strategies. 

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement – Perform spend analysis, supplier evaluations, and contribute to inventory optimization and vendor negotiations. 

• Indirect Procurement – Identify and implement automation solutions to streamline procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.
