Job Overview

Summary of the Role:

As a General Ledger and Financial Reporting Accountant (CPA), you will be responsible for statutory financial reporting, PEZA compliance, audit coordination, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and supporting accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. It also involves assisting with PEZA registrations and finance projects while driving accounting and system-related process improvements in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

  • Maintain Secondary Ledger for Local Statutory Reporting.
  • Responsible on the preparation of Segregated Financial Statement per Registered Activity as required by PEZA.
  • Coordinates with the external auditor and prepare required audit adjustment, reports and schedules.
  • Involve on the implementation of different finance projects.
  • Assists on the Registration of various PEZA projects.
  • Actively involved in an efficient and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
  • Creates journal entries in accordance with accounting standards, IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Reviews the trial balance and preliminary P&L for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations using ARCS toolAid in the preparation of fluctuation analyses and perform monthly financial statements analytics, providing relevant explanations for fluctuations.
  • Participates in projects relating to process improvement both from accounting and system relate.
