The Opportunity
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping governance excellence at one of Australia’s leading universities? We’re seeking a detail-driven and proactive Governance Officer to join our team at the Hawkesbury campus, where you’ll be at the heart of high-level decision-making and compliance assurance.

 The role extends beyond Committee support, to ensuring the University is meeting its governance and compliance requirements. If you thrive on precision, discretion, and ethical judgment, and you’re passionate about enabling strong governance frameworks, this is your chance to make a real impact.

 About You

You are:

  • Organised and agile, with exceptional time management skills to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Skilled in prioritisation, able to navigate competing deadlines confidently.
  • Self-driven and autonomous, able to take initiative and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • A clear and confident communicator, skilled in engaging with diverse stakeholders and producing high-quality written documentation.
  • Known for your integrity and ethical judgment, with a commitment to confidentiality and governance best practice.
  • Collaborative and engagement-focused, thriving in team-based planning and working effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Experience with policy interpretation and application is advantageous, but not required.

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at our Hawkesbury campus.

Remuneration Package:

HEW Level 5 $99,521 to $112,546 p.a. (comprising Salary of $84,096 to $95,103 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
