We’re looking for an outstanding Financial Controller to join our team in Munich on an interim 6 month contract whilst we integrate the organisation with our new ERP system.
As a Financial Controller, you play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial tasks critical to the decision making process & the overall financial health of the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB/IFRS.
- Reporting to the headquarters in England
- Preparation of forecasts and liquidity planning as well as annual budget planning
- Preparation of evaluations to determine the success of customers, products and sales
- Further development of product contribution margin accounting
- Analysis of the sorting and packing processes as well as of the inventory
- Analysis of empties processes and implementation of possible measures
- Creation of import evaluations
Requirements
- Commercial university degree or comparable training with a specialisation in controlling and Accounting
- Confident application of relevant legal regulations of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS, as well as several years of professional experience
- Sound knowledge of financial management methods and processes (e.g. planning, forecasting, KPI analysis, cash flow)
- Fluent German and English (C1/C2)
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- Good Datev knowledge is an advantage
- High affinity to numbers and very good analytical and conceptual thinking skills
