Textiles Product Designer and Developer

About the Role:  

As a Product Designer and Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's product and contributing to its continued success in the home textiles and accessories market. You will work closely with the Art Director to conceptualize and design innovative products that meet customer preferences and align with the company's vision of providing top-quality products.  

Responsibilities:  

• Collaborate with the Art Director to understand market trends, customer preferences, and business goals.  
• Conduct extensive research to identify emerging trends, technological advancements, materials, and design techniques relevant to the home textiles and accessories industry.  
• Create concept sketches, 2D and 3D renderings, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas effectively.  
• Develop detailed product specifications, including materials, dimensions, and manufacturing processes, ensuring feasibility and cost-effectiveness.  
• Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure that all designs meet the company's quality standards and brand guidelines.  
• Work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing, providing necessary support and clarifications.  
• Develop products and maintain relationships with suppliers for quality and cost-effectiveness.  
• Conduct product reviews, monitor sales performance, and stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements to optimize and expand product offerings.
