Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with over 10 years of expertise in the Australian accounting industry, specializing in Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) tax returns. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, compliance accuracy, and client-focused professionalism to ensure high-quality service delivery in SMSF accounting and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and lodge SMSF tax returns in compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations.
Manage end-to-end SMSF accounting processes including financial statements, audit preparation, and compliance reporting.
Provide expert guidance on superannuation legislation, tax strategies, and regulatory updates.
Liaise with auditors, trustees, and clients to ensure smooth completion of SMSF obligations.
Review and reconcile investment portfolios, contributions, pensions, and member balances.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in SMSF reporting.
Mentor junior accountants and provide technical support on SMSF-related matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian tax law, superannuation reforms, and compliance standards.
