Accounts Payable Specialist – Automotive Industry (AU Experience Required)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our automotive team, supporting dealerships including Oldmac Toyota, Springwood Mazda, and Redlands Motors. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of accounts payable experience in Australia, strong knowledge of Dealer Management Systems, and proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks.

In this role, you will manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensure timely payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies, contributing to the financial efficiency of the organization. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain accurate financial records and support overall operational success.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process creditors’ invoices and resolve discrepancies for Oldmac Toyota, Springwood Mazda, and Redlands Motors.

• Reconcile creditors’ accounts and sublet/parts clearing accounts.

• Draw all payments for vendors, customer refunds, and trade payouts.

• Monitor vendor accounts to ensure timely payments.

• Prepare analyses of creditor accounts upon request.

• Issue vendor numbers and maintain vendor details within the Dealer Management System.

• Manage monthly company Linkt accounts, process staff deductions, and liaise with payroll.

• Reconcile weekly inter-company loan accounts.

• Reconcile management credit cards and process staff/management reimbursements.

• Perform other clerical duties as required.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
