Assistant Manager - Data Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 5+ yrs experience who brings strong technical expertise in data processing, analytics, cloud platforms, and dashboarding, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and deliver end to end analytical solutions.Skills & ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and process large structured datasets using SQL and Python (Pandas, PySpark) to uncover insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision making.Build and optimize data transformations and analytical datasets using Pandas DataFrames and PySpark to ensure high quality, analysis ready data.Perform data cleansing and validation using regular expressions and other techniques to improve data accuracy and reliability.Develop and execute queries in BigQuery for analytical exploration and production reporting.Integrate external data sources through APIs and web scraping to expand analytical capabilities and automate data ingestion.Support scheduled data pipelines using Apache Airflow to ensure timely and reliable data delivery.Design and maintain dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize insights and monitor key performance metrics.Manage end to end analytical deliverables including requirement clarification, data validation, iterative development, and final reporting.Work with cloud data platforms—preferably GCP—to support scalable data architecture and analytics.Apply Big Data, data modeling, and optimization techniques to design efficient data pipelines using ETL tools.Utilize foundational web UI concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) to support data driven applications; hands on experience is a plus.
