Job Overview

Purpose of the Internship

The internship is intended to provide practical learning and professional exposure to a young graduate interested in nature conservation, biodiversity, and project coordination. The Intern will support the WWF-Bhutan Forests and Biodiversity Program under the Conservation Department in the implementation and coordination of key conservation initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Intern will support the Forest and Biodiversity Program for a period of three months and will be responsible for the following:

  1. Support the implementation of the Tiger Impact Certificate Project and the Nature-based and Wildlife Tourism Project.
  2. Assist in the planning, coordination, and organization of meetings, workshops, and other project-related events.
  3. Prepare minutes of meetings and maintain records of discussions, decisions, and follow-up actions.
  4. Follow up with partners and stakeholders on agreed actions and deliverables.
  5. Provide administrative and coordination support required for the smooth implementation of project activities.
  6. Assist in drafting, compiling, and organizing project documents, reports, and correspondence as needed.
  7. Support any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor in line with the objectives of the internship.
