EmployeeJob Overview
TEAM
Toyota is redefining what it means to move. We're challenging the current state of mobility by enhancing the movement of people, goods, information and energy. Centered around three core concepts - A Living Laboratory™, Human-Centered, and Ever Evolving City™ - Woven City serves as a test course for mobility to fulfill our purpose of well-being for all.
We do this by bringing together a diverse community of people with a shared passion for the future of mobility to co-create, develop and refine innovative products and services. This cross-section of social infrastructure, mobility, and people provides a unique opportunity for inventors, residents and visitors to interact seamlessly with new technologies throughout daily life in an environment that emulates a real city.
We'll expand "mobility" not only for people but also for goods or information. Regarding the mobility of things, we believe that if we can provide a service that makes moving things incredibly easy, it could potentially change our values and lifestyles. To this end, we are developing the Robot Platform—a shared infrastructure and product suite that enables diverse services to be built and operated using robots, smart devices, operations, and simulation technology. Going forward, we will collaborate with Inventors to expand platform capabilities and propose solutions, enabling customers both inside and outside Woven City to build and deliver services quickly.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We welcome candidates who not only draw up strategies but also possess strong execution skills to actually generate sales by engaging with customers in the Gemba, and who have a proven track record of delivering results across multiple domains—such as sales, planning, and business development—rather than being confined to a single department. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who can communicate directly with engineers and designers from different backgrounds, act autonomously even in ambiguous environments, and drive 0-to-1 initiatives forward.
Depending on the business phase, this position may require you to change your work location from Tokyo to Susono (Woven City), or involve frequent on-site visits on a business trip basis.

- Monitor development progress while steering the direction of the project through close collaboration with the PdM (Product Management) / Engineering team, monitor business performance after launch, and propose withdrawal or pivots as needed
- Explore corporate customers and Inventors who can co-create and leverage the robot platform, and create future revenue opportunities through solution proposals and the design/execution of alliance schemes
- Formulate Go-to-Market (GTM) and marketing strategies (target markets, channels, pricing strategies, etc.) for the external sales of products/services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
