Arene Professional Services (APS) is a team focused on applying the Arene platform to real vehicle projects and delivering value in production environments. The team understands the complex requirements and constraints of in‑vehicle software development and supports customers in addressing their challenges beyond supporting the introduction of the Arene platform by providing project‑specific design and configuration, as well as functional extensions when necessary. Working closely with customers, partners, and Arene’s product development teams, APS drives production‑ready adoption of the platform and helps lead customers’ vehicle projects to success.
Arene Professional Services connects the potential of the Arene platform with real vehicles and supports the realization of next‑generation in‑vehicle software.

Specifically, we are looking for individuals who:
Daily expectations include:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Based on customer requirements and constraints of vehicle systems and development environments, conduct specification definition, design, implementation, and evaluation of in‑vehicle applications and features on the Arene platform
- Collaborate with customers to technically align and discuss specifications, functional responsibilities, and ownership boundaries of applications and features
- Use the Arene toolchain to implement, integrate, and verify customer‑facing applications and features
- Evaluate the Arene platform and related tools, and provide feedback that contributes to continuous improvement of the Arene platform
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional experience in in-vehicle or embedded software development using C/C++
- Experience developing software on Linux platforms
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
- Ability to collaborate with customers and internal/external stakeholders and proactively drive development activities
- Ownership mindset for quality and performance, with the initiative to work beyond one’s primary area of expertise
- Working‑level proficiency in English for technical communication
- Business‑level proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written)
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience designing and implementing software architectures with a focus on maintainability, performance, and reliability in embedded or automotive systems
- Knowledge or experience with in‑vehicle operating systems such as QNX or Android Automotive OS
- Understanding of automotive software standards and functional safety (AUTOSAR, MISRA, CERT, ISO 26262)
- Experience designing or abstracting vehicle software architectures across multiple domains or generations
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Experience collaborating with Japanese automotive OEMs or automotive companies
- Business‑level proficiency in English (spoken and written)
