EmployeeJob Overview
About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

TEAM
Toyota is redefining what it means to move. We're challenging the current state of mobility by enhancing the movement of people, goods, information and energy. Centered around three core concepts - A Living Laboratory™, Human-Centered, and Ever Evolving City™ - Woven City serves as a test course for mobility to fulfill our purpose of well-being for all.
We do this by bringing together a diverse community of people with a shared passion for the future of mobility to co-create, develop and refine innovative products and services. This cross-section of social infrastructure, mobility, and people provides a unique opportunity for inventors, residents and visitors to interact seamlessly with new technologies throughout daily life in an environment that emulates a real city.
This team, composed of specialists in the power business, software development and new business development, is responsible for planning and launching new energy management services for EV owners. This work supports Toyota's transformation into a "Mobility Company" by collaborating with Woven City's in-house power operations team and other relevant departments within Toyota Motor Corporation.
You will report to the Lead of Product Management Energy.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As the Energy Service Delivery Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end sales & service operations of the product our team is developing, with a focus on coordinating multiple stakeholders (dealers, contractors, OEMs, internal teams) and driving scalable, high‑quality operations.
You will make sure that what we sell and deliver to customers is operationally feasible, technically sound, and economically attractive, and that the overall experience for dealers and end‑customers continuously improves.
We are looking for someone with strong operations / project management experience who can:
・Design and standardize workflows and SOPs in an ambiguous, fast‑changing environment
・Lead cross‑functional coordination to ensure smooth delivery and resolution of issues
・Build trust and alignment across non‑technical and technical stakeholders
・Use data and feedback from the field to continuously improve the way we work
You do not need to be a deep electrical design expert, but you should have enough understanding of residential energy equipment (e.g., solar PV, V2H, home batteries) – or the ability to ramp up quickly – to work effectively with contractors and to review technical and commercial proposals.
