POSITION SUMMARY:

The Refugee School Impact Supervisor will oversee a team of three to implement daily morning classes for PreK children of refugee parents, work with community partners to support these families, and assist in giving families tools to integrate into the public school system.   This role will also be responsible for tracking data involved with programs and reporting regularly. 

This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until 9/30/26 and contingent upon funding extension.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Staff Supervision: 
  • Train, supervise, coach, and evaluate RSI staff. 
  •  Lead RSI Program staff in setting appropriate and achievable individual and team goals and objectives. 
  •  Facilitate one-on-one evaluation meetings with RSI staff.   
  •  Facilitate RSI team meetings to ensure collaborative and quality, team-based service provision.   
  • Interface with Education Programs Manager and grantor to access program success metrics and performance measures. 
  •  Assists RSI staff with troubleshooting challenges including assistance with classes. 
  •  Provide ongoing feedback to staff and conduct mid-year and annual performance appraisals.   
  • Program and Grant Management Oversight:  
  •  Oversees the implementation and management of the RSI programs and ensures all program requirements and WR policies and procedures are met;   
  •  Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures of World Relief and grant requirements in implementing the RSI Program. 
  •  Ensures all RSI services are provided in a timely manner and properly documented. 
  •  Participates in all program meetings, including the monthly partner calls, staff development activities, and other duties as assigned.    
  • Collaborates with the Program Manager of Education to provide support in all areas of the RSI program as required. 
  •  Fill in as class teacher or aide when needed. 
  •  Program Evaluation and Reporting:    
  • Conducts periodic case files and electronic data reviews to ensure grant compliance and appropriate and timely service delivery. 
  •  Creates reports and attends monthly support calls as required by grantor. 
  • Coordinates the internal and external monitoring and audit efforts.   
  • Ensures program goals are met and manages quality control for both service provision and grants compliance.   
  • Complete and submit reports and metrics to grantors and WR leadership on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and/or annual basis. 
  •  Perform monthly quality control tasks of program data to ensure accurate reporting to grantors.   
  • Participate in all program audits conducted by state and federal grantors and the World Relief Home Office.    
  • Collaboration:    
  • Maintains and promotes communication and collaboration with other WR Programs.   
  • Meet regularly with supervisor to discuss department updates and strategy.   
  • Meet with potential partners and service providers, including school leadership and administrators.   
  • Conduct Professional Development training for local educators and administrators on refugee needs.  
  • This role is responsible for supervising others and includes responsibilities consistent with supervising employees, including but not limited to monitoring daily work activities, tracking and approving timesheets including approving time off, monitoring performance including entering goals, progress check-ins, and weekly or bi-weekly check-ins, documenting performance concerns, entering staff promotions, transitions, and separations in HRIS within required time frame. Managers at World Relief are also considered spiritual leaders and are expected to lead staff in a manner consistent with our Christian values, including but not limited to praying with staff, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment in interactions with staff throughout World Relief.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  •  3 Years of experience leading a child teaching team
  • Teaching experience 
  • Reporting and tracking metrics
