This role carries a dual mandate: business growth and office operations. As BD Head, you will work closely with the GM to lead business development strategy across East China and key national markets, driving client growth and revenue targets. As Head of Shanghai Office, you will support the GM in overseeing the day-to-day operations, team coordination, and culture building of the Shanghai office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

RESPONSILIBITIES
- Strategy & Execution — Develop and implement BD strategies for East China and key national markets in alignment with the Greater China overall strategy, with a focus on high-value clients and priority industries to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Client & Channel Development — Lead the acquisition and management of key accounts and strategic partners; establish C-level client relationships; expand diversified business channels and drive cross-regional, cross-business-line collaboration.
- Pipeline Management & Conversion — Lead the team through the full sales cycle (identification, follow-up, negotiation, and closing); optimize the sales funnel to improve conversion rates and client satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence & Brand Presence — Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, and policy developments to inform business decisions; enhance the company's brand presence in East China through industry events and high-level networking.
- Build and optimize the BD team structure; oversee recruitment, training, motivation, and performance evaluation to develop a high-performing, professional sales and BD team.
- Establish standardized BD processes to improve team efficiency and professionalism.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative team culture; drive effective cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams.
- Support the Greater China GM in overseeing the daily operations of the Shanghai office, including administration, budget execution, and compliance management, ensuring stable and orderly office functioning.
- Serve as the cultural and communications hub of the Shanghai office; ensure effective communication and implementation of headquarters strategies and policies, strengthening team cohesion and sense of belonging.
- Coordinate collaboration between the Shanghai office and regional offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, and global headquarters to ensure smooth information flow and resource alignment.
- Manage external relations and VIP visitor reception; maintain strong relationships with government bodies, business parks, and external partners.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited university; 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in business development, sales management, or general management; background in multinational or established local enterprises preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the East China market (particularly Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region); established client network and industry connections in relevant sectors (e.g., gaming, payments, technology).
- Proven team management experience (directly managing 5+ people); prior experience owning regional or business unit P&L preferred.
- Experience in office operations management, government relations, or operational support is a plus.
- Business Acumen — Deep understanding of industry dynamics and client pain points; ability to quickly identify opportunities and design partnership models; strong negotiation and deal management skills.
- Leadership & Collaboration — Skilled at motivating teams and leveraging internal and external resources; able to drive collaboration and execution within a complex organization.
- Communication & Influence — Proficient in both Chinese and English as working languages; strong executive-level communication skills and cross-cultural competence.
- Maturity & Composure — Resilient under pressure with sound judgment and strong organizational thinking; capable of independently managing complex matters under the GM's authorization.
