Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a sharp and business-savvy Senior Data Analyst to support our executive team with strategic insights. You’ll work closely with leadership especially the CEO to dive deep into our Power BI dashboards, explain performance changes, and surface the "why" behind key business trends. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge technical analysis with strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret Power BI dashboards, addressing ad hoc questions from executives.
• Investigate performance drops, trends, and anomalies using both summarized and raw data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify missing data and recommend internal or external data sources.
• Write SQL queries to extract and explore data as needed for deeper analysis.
• Clearly communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders, focusing on actionable business insights.
• Design and implement automated trend and anomaly detection logic for executive KPIs.
• Define thresholds, baselines, and statistical methods to monitor performance deviations across key metrics.
• Design, implement, and maintain KPI monitoring logic and alerts using BI tools, SQL pipelines, or rule-based models — ensuring timely detection of performance issues that require executive attention.
• Collaborate with the AI team to integrate detected anomalies into explanation or alerting systems

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or similar role.
• Proficiency with Power BI and SQL.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into insights that support business decisions.
• Experience working directly with senior leadership is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with time series trend analysis, anomaly detection, or alerting systems.
• Proficiency in identifying leading indicators and root-cause metrics behind business performance changes.
• Ability to own end-to-end detection logic, from business problem framing to technical implementation.

Nice to Have

• iGaming or online entertainment industry experience (highly preferred).
• Understanding of AI concepts and their applications in business analytics.
