STATE ACTIVISM COORDINATOR
Overview of the Position
The State Activism Coordinator is a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) employee responsible for the direct mobilization, development, and management of activists within an assigned state. This role serves as the primary field representative of the Activism Department, working directly with Minute Men, dues-paying members, campus chapters, and community chapters to advance organizational priorities and Advocacy objectives.
The State Activism Coordinator reports directly to the Activism Director.

Qualifications for the position
- Activism Mindset: Strong interest in grassroots activism, Advocacy organizing, and advancing liberty.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with activists, members, and chapter leaders.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to motivate, organize, and develop volunteers.
- Recruitment: Comfortable recruiting activists, members, and chapter leaders.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects, activists, and priorities simultaneously.
- Accountability: Willingness to take ownership of assigned goals and performance metrics.
- Event Management: Ability to organize and execute activism events, meetings, and mobilization efforts.
- Political Acumen: Basic understanding of grassroots pressure tactics, legislative advocacy, and political engagement.
- Technology: Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and organizational tracking tools.
- Compliance: Ability to complete required lobbying compliance training and registration requirements accurately and on time.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events, tabling, and canvassing activities.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned state.
