IT Governance Officer

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the IT governance framework in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with CBI regulations and track updates that may impact IT governance practices.
• Help maintain and align IT policies, procedures, and controls with frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, and NIST CSF.
• Participate in IT governance risk assessments, support identification of control gaps, and follow up on remediation activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation required for internal and external audits, and assist in resolving audit findings related to IT governance.
• Coordinate with teams across IT, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business Units to support effective governance and control practices.
• Contribute to the collection and reporting of IT governance KPIs and metrics related to compliance and control performance.
• Support governance reviews of IT projects to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the periodic review, update, and communication of IT governance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date governance records, dashboards, and compliance trackers to support reporting and management oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in IT Governance, IT Compliance, or IT Risk Management.
• Understanding of auditing processes, compliance practices, and IT control assessments.
• Familiarity with CBI regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Knowledge of governance and security frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, or ITIL is preferred.
• Delivers accurate governance documentation and reports on time to support compliance and audit requirements
• Professional certifications or training in ISO 27001, COBIT, CISA, or related areas are a plus.
