Job Summary:
The Project Engineer supports the complete execution of projects and acts as a key technical and coordination interface with customers, internal departments, and global Zeeco locations. The role helps safeguard project margins by ensuring scope compliance, technical accuracy, schedule adherence, and effective communication.
The Project Engineer shall strive to:

As part of the Zeeco Projects Group, this individual will interface with Zeeco Headquarters and other global locations alongside Engineering / R&D / Design / QAQC / Drafting teams. The Project Engineer is expected to maintain sound technical knowledge of Zeeco products and confidently discuss technical points with customers.

The Project Engineer is expected to maintain sound technical knowledge of Zeeco products and confidently discuss technical points with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support execution of multiple projects from sales turnover to completion (Flares products).
- Handle day-to-day communication with clients (internal/external), Zeeco HQ, global offices, and sub-vendors.
- Support management of deliverables, schedules, man-hours, weekly/monthly status reporting, and team coordination.
- Create technical mechanical specifications; review/interpret client specifications; prepare procurement inquiry packages; carry out technical bid evaluation; and coordinate review of vendor drawings/data.
- Expedite vendor deliverables and supply to site, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.
- Participate in HAZOP & SIL meetings.
- Support maintenance of ISO audit documentation.
- Assist in scope review and ensure alignment with project and sales quotation.
- Evaluate customer specifications to specify appropriate equipment per application and quotation.
- Monitor and control internal and external deliverables across the lifecycle.
- Maintain project delivery schedule as per contractual requirements.
- Notify internal departments when design or scope changes impact project pricing, schedule, or deliverables.
- Prepare/support preparation of WBS/CBS based on client specifications, sales quotation & budget.
- Support timely invoicing and payment follow-up.
- Ensure proactive control of scope, schedule, and cost while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain positive project cashflow through adherence to invoicing milestones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, and web-based systems for contract management and scheduling.
- Quotation/sales support when required
- Travel (domestic/international) for project meetings / site support
- Participation in skill development initiatives based on management guidance
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (essential).
- PMP or equivalent certification (preferred, not mandatory).
- Additional training in Contract Management, Risk Management, or Quality Control is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience (Heavy Engineering background preferred).
- Experience in project execution, client coordination, mechanical specification review, or equipment procurement will be advantageous.
