Marketing & Communication Local Activation Lead

 Role Summary:

The role plays a key role in designing and implementing a communication and public relations plan, enhancing relationships with regional media and local stakeholders to reinforce the organization’s brand, focusing on area campuses. The role holder will report to the Group Marketing & Communications Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crafts press releases and articles, proactively engage with the media to secure coverage, and promptly respond to inquiries from journalists. 
• Monitors media coverage and compile reports to update clients on the outcomes. 
• Assists in executing Influencer Marketing programs and activations, operating under the guidance of the Account Manager. 
• Attending client events and conferences as required. 
• Delivers analytical reports pertaining to PR and communications activations. 
• Collaborates on brainstorming sessions to generate fresh and creative ideas for PR campaigns. 

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 5+ years of demonstrable experience working in a PR and communications role with agency background desirable.
• Proven experience in Media Relations, Influencers’ Engagement projects & Event Management.
• Experience in building and implementing a PR and communications strategy.
• Experience in organizing and coordinating events.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Strong time and project management abilities. 
• Proven experience in working with AI tools and systems is required.
