Job Overview
- Manage centralized scheduling for patients, including appointments, follow-ups, and rescheduling.
- Process, track, and manage patient referrals from intake through completion.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and internal staff via phone, email, and electronic messaging.
- Accurately document and update patient information within the EMR system (Raintree or similar).
- Coordinate with clinical teams to resolve scheduling issues, referral delays, and patient inquiries.
- Ensure all patient communications and documentation comply with HIPAA and healthcare privacy standards.
- Identify and proactively resolve issues related to referrals, authorizations, and scheduling gaps.
- Support day-to-day administrative healthcare operations as assigned.
Hard Requirements:
- Minimum 2β3 years of experience in a medical or healthcare administrative role.
- HIPAA certification (required).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Hands-on experience using EMR/EHR systems (Raintree experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of medical referrals, scheduling workflows, and patient coordination.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30AM - 4:30PM Pacific Standard Time Zone
- 9:00AM - 6:00PM Pacific Standard Time Zone
