Responsibilities

• System Administration: Administer and configure Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM) to meet organisational needs. Ensure system stability, performance, and security.
• Project Delivery: Lead and participate in strategic Atlassian projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• User Support and Training: Provide technical support to users and resolve issues promptly. Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators.
• System Integration: Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems and applications. Support  the development and maintenance of custom scripts and automation workflows.
• Performance Optimisation: Monitor system performance and implement optimisation strategies. Conduct regular system audits and health checks.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with organisational policies. Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Change Management: Manage change requests and ensure smooth transitions during upgrades and migrations. Develop and implement change management plans.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and user guides. Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Atlassian product developments and industry trends. Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Atlassian Suite Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in administering and configuring Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, JSM, and other related products.
  • Strong understanding of Atlassian best practices and methodologies.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Groovy, Python, or Shell scripting.
  • Experience with database management and SQL for Atlassian tools.
• Project Management:
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering strategic Atlassian projects.
