We are seeking a results-driven SEO and Content Specialist to grow the online presence of a high-performing mortgage brand. This role focuses on increasing search visibility, generating inbound leads, and building brand authority across key local markets.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Optimization
- Optimize website pages for high-intent mortgage keywords
- Create and manage city-specific landing pages (e.g., Orlando, Winter Park, Tampa)
- Implement on-page SEO (titles, headers, internal linking, content structure)
- Manage technical SEO elements (schema markup, indexing, site structure)
Content Strategy & Execution
- Convert weekly radio shows into SEO-optimized blog articles
- Coordinate YouTube video publishing and optimize titles/descriptions
- Develop FAQ-based content targeting common mortgage questions
- Maintain a consistent content calendar
Local SEO & Reputation Management
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profile
- Drive a consistent Google review acquisition strategy
- Respond to reviews with professional, keyword-rich responses
Digital Presence Integration
- Ensure alignment across website, YouTube, podcast platforms, and social media
- Link all content back to the primary website to build SEO authority
- Maintain consistent branding across all platforms
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Track keyword rankings and website traffic
- Monitor conversion rates and lead sources
- Provide monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 2+ years of SEO experience, preferably in the real estate or mortgage industry
- Strong understanding of local SEO and Google ranking factors
Content & Marketing Skills
- Experience with content marketing and YouTube optimization
- Ability to write or coordinate clear, engaging, and informative content
Tools & Technical Skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and keyword research platforms
Media & Content Production
- Experience editing radio, podcast, or social media videos
- Ability to create short-form content from long-form content
- Knowledge of tools and resources for video and content editing
