Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned regional manager to handle our business operations in a specific region. The regional manager will be in charge of leading and managing daily operations in order to meet corporate objectives and increase profits. Your responsibilities as a regional manager also include guiding management employees in your region, creating performance objectives, reviewing and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and business standards are followed, and preparing operational and financial reports.

This position is located in Metro - Detroit. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership: Actively engage with team members, encouraging open and honest communication.  Follow-through with plans to improve processes and implement long term solutions to staff concerns.  Lead training and development efforts through hands-on management of team members.
  2. Operational Support: Be a catalyst for continuous improvement.  Identify opportunities and ensure that current tools and resources are used effectively to enhance performance.  Foster partnership and interdependence between teams. 
  3. Client Retention: Maintain and build a high level of rapport with internal and external customers. Actively follow through and hold team members accountable for their work and for meeting the service level expectations of our clients 
  4. Financial Management: Responsible for meeting or exceeding financial goals.  Forecast product needs, review orders, price to market, and identify constraints
Job Duties

  1. Visiting accounts to familiarize with the operations
  2. Perform audits of corporate dining accounts to ensure compliance with company standards
  3. Spearhead initiatives of culinary wellness programs with our clients
  4. Meeting with the corporate dining managers and staff in order to discuss opportunities for additional profitability
  5. Handle projects for the region that assist with overall account growth
  6. Meetings and collaboration with department heads on driving company initiatives to maximize profitability/sales/growth/people development at the unit/market level. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Demonstrates attributes of 
  1. Previous multi-unit management experience required
  2. Experience with building, establishing, and growing relationships with clients

Preferred Qualifications

1.    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field of studies required
2.    7+ years in restaurants or food operations
