Senior Recruiter – Sales Hiring | Chicago | Hybrid |
This isn't a seat-filler role.
We're hiring on behalf of a publicly traded, high-velocity technology business in Chicago. They're looking for a Senior Recruiter to own the build-out of a modern, AI-native sales hiring engine — from first principles.
If you're running a desk inside a mature TA function and looking for more of the same, this probably isn't for you. If you're a scrappy, high-agency operator who's already using AI to compound your output and wants to architect something from scratch — read on.
What You'll Own
End-to-end sales hiring across the Chicago org and broader US footprint
Designing and automating sourcing, screening, and pipeline workflows using Claude Code and adjacent AI tooling
Funnel analytics — diagnosing where conversion breaks and fixing it with process or technology
Hiring manager partnership: scorecards, calibration, structured interviewing, and offer strategy
A candidate experience that reflects the calibre of the business
Who Fits
Scrappy operator. You've built something from zero — not just maintained a process someone else designed
High IQ, high agency. You think from first principles and don't wait for permission
Genuinely AI-native. You're already using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tooling to automate parts of your workflow. This is non-negotiable
Strong sales recruiting track record — AE, SDR leadership, and GTM hires at growth-stage or publicly traded tech companies
Comfortable with ambiguity. The playbook gets written by you
Chicago-based or willing to be on-site three days a week
